ZAMSURECO-I Joins NEA and Electric Cooperatives Nationwide in NEA's 55th Anniversary Tree Planting Initiative for a Greener Tomorrow

In a powerful testament to collective environmental action, ZAMSURECO-I joined forces with NEA and electric cooperatives nationwide in the 2024 Simultaneous NEA-EC Tree Planting Activity. This initiative was part of the National Electrification Administration (NEA) 's 55th anniversary celebrations and coincided with the 52nd Founding Anniversary of ZAMSURECO-I and the 15th National Electrification Awareness Month.

The event was led by General Manager and CEO Jose Raul A. Saniel, who, alongside more than 230 employees of ZAMSURECO-I, planted a diverse array of 1,000 seedlings—comprising 500 Bayog, 300 Narra, and 200 Red Nato. In his address, GM Saniel noted, "As we commemorate NEA's 55 years of electrification, we also embrace our responsibility toward the environment. This tree planting is a vital part of our mission to combat climate change and secure a sustainable future."
