The onslaught of typhoon Ursula brought major damages to our sister cooperatives in the Visayas Region and the TASKFORCE KAPATID 2019 was created. GM Jose Raul A. Saniel immediately deployed last December 26, 2019, ZAMSURECO-I warriors of light to help affected electric cooperatives to immediately restore the devastated power lines.

ZAMSURECO-I Board and Management Team joined in the 2019 Yuletide Gathering of the Association of Mindanao Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AMRECO) at Hotel Oazis, Butuan City. ZAMSURECO-I got special prizes for having won Best in Delegation, Highest Number of Attending Delegates and Best Dressed (Male Category) for Director Jeffrey Rabon. ZAMSURECO-I team led by GM/CEO Jose Raul A. Saniel donated the gift certificates to the NEA-EC-MCO movement which were joyfully received by Dir. Corazon D. Cullantes. Joining in the celebration were NEA Deputy Admin of EC Management Services, Atty. Vicar Loureen G. Lofranco, AMRECO President Dir. Corazon D. Cullantes with the participation of power stakeholders such as NGCP and Alsons Power Group. Yuletide greetings poured in the night celebration, filled in with parlor games and live dances. ###

After the 40-day in-house training in ZAMSURECO-I Area-I Sub-Office grounds, the 28 linemen trainees graduate on the Basic Lineman's Training Course - Batch 12 last November 25, 2019 at ZAMSURECO-I Heroes' Hall. Escorted by their family members, the linemen graduates received their certificate of training from the National Electrification Administration and ZAMSURECO-I. In attendance were ZAMSURECO-I Management Team and workforce headed by GM/CEO Jose Raul A. Saniel and Board of Directors led by BOD President Glenn Santiago Malalis with Master Trainer Mr. Diosdado Arong, Brgy. Captain Hon. Elsa Guterra of Campo 4, Purok 7, Brgy. Mahayahay, Ramon Magsaysay and ZAMSURECO-II technical supervisors.
